Somnath Ray leads the Asia Pacific team in business development and project management with focus on Bioindustries. With over 20 years of experience in this field, he has developed expertise in biomass sourcing and utilisation, forest carbon credit, pulp and paper production conversion, and decarbonisation strategies. His mission and passion is to bring innovative solutions for biomass, forestry, pulp, paper, and paperboard products, and to help clients achieve their net-zero targets. Somnath also facilitates feasibility studies and M&A transactions and implement ESG diagnostics and operations excellence diagnostics and implementation. He holds a Master's degree in Management of Technology & Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Technology.
